First, I want to say that I am thinking of the victims of 9/11 and their loved ones. This includes the first responders. Our nation was changed forever on that fateful day, and I will never forget where I was when I heard the devastating, and terrifying, news. I cannot believe that it’s been 15 years already.

I would like to share with you an interesting story that I did for Healthline in 2015. It is about 9/11 first-responders being plagued by rheumatoid arthritis and similar autoimmune conditions, giving credence to the notion that RA and PTSD are linked, and also that RA may have environmental components.
